Tiquetonne Paris Reviews

Accommodation on the Rue Tiquetonne, which is a pedestrian street brimming with boutiques, allows for a most affordable exploring of the fashionable city of Paris. There located is cute Hotel Tiquetonne, with 45 rooms, all of which have a feminine touch.

This budgeted hotel is placed at a highly priced location in the 1st and 2nd arrondissements of Paris. Some of the prominent structures placed to the hotel are French Stock Exchange, France’s national library, and the Bibliotheque National Richelieu. Louvre and the Chatelet are placed at a walkable distance from the hotel. A standard suite room at this hotel would cost you 40 Euros, which is steal deal!

Flower-imprinted wallpapers and reproduced paintings add to the red carpeted spacious rooms, with vintage furniture and a telephone for receiving phone calls. The bathrooms, coupled with beautiful tiles and shower only add to the glamour. Despite the various renovations, this Rue Tiquetonne hotel has retained its “old-age” charm, which is evident from its heighted ceilings and never ending staircases, which are either part of elegant princess stories, or spooky tales.

The hotel’s location is just a block away from the nearest Metro and a block away from Rue Montuergueil with its open air markets and cafes and just a 5 min walk to Les Halles where you can shop or catch a train to whichever destination you need to go.

This popular budget hotel has English speaking staffs who are polite and very helpful. This one star budget hotel allows you to a daily treasure of newfound delights. Its ideal location allows you to visit Paris by foot. It’s easy to walk to the Louvre, Notre Dame, and Latin Quarter etc. There is a lovely market on the street at the end of Tiquetonne and a great Australian Bar and a few Irish bars nearby.

This is not a “regal” or “lavish” hotel, but a humble and clean abode to return to after the Parisian excursions. The heighted ceilings and big French windows make the rooms airy and not at all does one feel cramped. Clean bed sheets and towels are provided on a daily basis, which is something the big hotels should look at, for some of that do not change the sheets daily. The service is remarkably good, and at the end, one feels that he gets more than he paid for.

The hotel has a restaurant inside which offers such delicious French cuisine, made in such a homely environment that one can’t help but feel as if he is part of a bigger family. And if you are looking to explore Paris without going heavy on your pocket, this is just the right choice for you.

If you ever give it a thought, there may be many luxurious amenities available at the pricey range of hotels, but it’s rather rarely that you actually opt for using them. So, an inexpensive hotel seems to be a well-balanced option, doesn’t it?
